Day 6 – Part 3 – Notre Dame and leaving Paris
Getting a look at The Notre Dame Cathedral and preparing for my next leg of the journey.

Activating my Eurail, and using it to explore The Palace of Versailles and the surrounding town. (With Video)
Day 6 – Part 1 – MIJE, Pere Lachaise Cemetery
Taking another look at The MIJE and its adjacent cathedral, exploring the Pere Lachaise Cemetery where Jim Morrison, Chopin, Oscar Wilde, and many others are buried. Wandering through a Paris marketplace. (With Video)
Day 5 – Paris, this time with feeling.
Bumming around The MIJE, eating a sandwich outside The Bastille, and checking out The Siene River, Notre Dame Cathedral, Tour Montparnasse, and the St. Germaine district at night.
Day 4 – Part 2 – Paris site seeing / Napping in public places
Checking out The Louvre, The Paris Needle, Champs-Élysées, The Arc De Triomphe, The Eiffel Tower, and then traveling back to my room at The MIJE for a 14 hour sleep.
Day 4 – Part 1 – Entering Paris
Arriving in Paris without a place to stay at about 11pm at night, trying to kill time in a hip-hop club I’d heard about in a travel guide waiting for my hostel to open, realizing the club is now a condemned building, and then waiting out the early morning in a 24 hour internet cafe on the Siene.
Day 3 – Part 2 – Caen and Rouen
Training through Caen, visiting Rouen, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen, The place Joan of Arc was burned at the stake and training to Paris.
Day 3 – Part 1 – Leaving Bayeux
Checking out of my Bayeux hostel, seeing the Bayeux Tapestry, The Bayeux D-Day Museum, The Bayeux War Cemetery, Bayeux Cathedral and The Bayeux War Reporters Memorial. (With Video)
Day 2 – Part 2 – Omaha Beach and The American Cemetery
Visiting Omaha Beach, The Normandy American Cemetery and traveling back to Bayeux. (With Video)
Day 2 – Part 1 – Cherbourg and Bayeux
Arriving in the French port town of Cherbourg, taking a train to Bayeux, and checking into my Bayeux hostel.

Day 1 – London and the ferry to Cherbourg
The start of the journey. Checking out of my student flat in London, The Imperial War Museum, the train ride from Waterloo station to Poole, and the ferry ride across the English Channel to France.
